[Her transmission crackles to life midaction, the sound of a weapon being sheathed as something hits the ground near the communicator with a sickly thud.
There's a pause. Impatient. Irritated.]
Such a mess, this has become.
How... hm, typical. And yet, you all seem to be taking care of yourselves quite well.

Wonderful. If only more were like you I would think things would be much more interesting.

If this is about what we did to the back streets, it was an accident and we were just doing our job and all those buildings probably needed to be condemned anyway so we were probably doing you a favour--

What exactly did you all do, now?

--Uh, nothing much. Just a couple of IEDs spread around to try and seal off one of the big monsters. Didn't seem to work as well as we hoped, but at least we tried!

Okay, maybe it was more than just a couple IEDs. Maybe it more like several or several dozen. You'll have to ask Rude.
We can't check the area until the surviving monsters calm down and go back to their nest or burrow or whatever it was. Who knows, maybe those empty buildings are still standing after all!
