While I reject the Gregorian calendar, husband, while is down with all the other ~Jew stuff~ does not, so we'll actually be celebrating in a house get together with friends/family.

I've invited my aunt over for beef & barley stew, but she appears to be busy doing other things, so Mike and I will read some P. G. Wodehouse until he gets tired, then I'll watch a movie. Whoopee!

That sounds pretty good, actually. Some friends had a little party I went to, and we had a middle-aged person good time playing a board game called "Secret Hitler" that I recommend unreservedly.
