WOW! That's quite a big difference in cost between the two but you need to pick the one that will satify your needs.

Living rooms walls painted gray. I wouldn't like that at all. It would be depressing for me.

It might be a good idea to pay the designer you like the most to come out and give you a more detailed plan especially since you are spending so much money on this and you will be stuck (sort of) with the result.

I knew that this one would be cheaper, but the difference was a lot bigger than I expected.

I have thoght about the gray walls. I like bright colors, gray wouldn't look good with those.

Oh my gosh that is a tough decision to make! Sometimes the extra money is well worth it though - especially since you did not like what the cheaper designer wanted to do with your place. You have to live with the results. So perhaps pay for the second one to at least come out and talk with you?

Yes it is. I knew this one would be cheaper, but this much cheaper. I would gladly pay more if I knew that the other person would be at least a bit better. Problem is that I don't know. The other one did not express her thoughts in any way. Her ideas might be worse. Besides she makes me do the running - I have to go visit her, the other one comes to me and brings everything here so I can see the materials in the right places. Besides I know what I want, I just want to save some time. It would take days to do the shopping. I hate that.

Yes, I think I really should pay for her time and talk with her about an hour or two hours.
