You can still get Hubba Bubba in Australia? I haven't seen that one in ages. I still remember the stupid cowboy commercials they had for it advertising "big bubbles, no troubles." I seem to remember it being recommended as non-sticking, but I suppose the facial hair would cause a bigger issue....
I used to be pretty good with Bubble Yum, but that's about it. The others all seemed to snap too quickly to make good bubbles. Double Bubble was the worst, you had to chew a ton of pieces for about half an hour before you could get enough elasticity to blow anything and they were always rock hard.
Can't chew any more, I'm afraid. Too much dental work.
I love gum! I still forget that I love it a lot, though, since I basically refuse to chew it around other people and I'm almost always around other people. I've had decent success with Hershey's IceBreakers, recently -- little cubes, decent flavor, and after you chew for a minute you can blow properly unwieldy bubbles.
I was at our local gas station this morning figuring I'd pick up some Extra (sugar free - less cavities) and thinking of your post decided to check out the bubblegum section. The only bubble gum I saw was Hubba Bubba and Bubble Tape. I wonder what happened to the rest?
