Is it me or is using guns in Grand Theft Auto III really hard? I can't get any further in the game because when I have to shoot someone the control just goes to pot and I end up aimlessly shotting stuff before getting 'wasted'. It's frustrating because the game is actually quite enjoyable and this is an integral part of the game. Please help!

Yeah, I have the PC version here somewhere, should give it another go. But PD2, it's the original and best, apparently. Incidentally it's the mission where you have to kill the chap in the pedestrian bit of Chinatown, you get attacked by a load of Triads and the fella gets away.
