The Tune
Whilst I was on my illustration degree I saw an animated film that just blew me away. It mas a cold Sunday morning at about 1.30am, my flatmate said "you might want to watch this" - and I'm glad I did!
It was called The Tune by cartoonist and animator Bill Plympton

The 1K Project - 1,000 Cars In Trackmania
Really impressive video put together by some nutter who played the same self-built track in the PC racing game Trackmania 1,000 times and merged all the replays together to create this beautiful piece of work. Even if you hate computer games you should watch this as it's stunning. -

Well, I just got back from a lovely few days with the adorable noodleslutbunny. Apart from a nice trip out to the hospital (don't worry, it was a planned visit), we generally stopped in and watched a ton of films including V For Vendetta ("loved it") and Aeon Flux ("that was pants, wasn't it?"). Game-related Chatter
Is it me or is using guns in Grand Theft Auto III really hard? I can't get any further in the game because when I have to shoot someone the control just goes to pot and I end up aimlessly shotting stuff before getting 'wasted'. It's frustrating because the game is actually quite enjoyable and this is an integral part of the game. Please help! -

Well, FilmFour is now on free-to-air TV! Excellent news, as long as they show a ton of decent films without the ads like they used to.
Anyway, they had some huge list show on Channel 4 to promote it - 50 Films To See Before You Die - an entertaining enough show, although once again it was choc-full of spoilers, and they didn't warn the viewer. I' ( Read more... )
