Spent pretty much the entire break playing Dragon Age. I'm not sure I'm regretting it or not, but suddenly there's a lot of writing I've ought've done that I haven't done. On the other hand, the time spent on the game was glorious. The in-game writing is amazing ( Read more... )

It is awesome! Like the entire party is full of awesome and lulz. It's amazing how well everything is written. You've got to get Morrigan and Alistair in your party for snarky fun. And then Leliana and Morrigan just for--actually, I like Leliana lots and glad that she's romancable. She's like Liara, but better developed (at least, until ME2 or whatever).

Only downside is the graphics, I supposed. They aren't bad but it's no FFXIII or anything. That and the battle system doesn't work that well on the console. It's not bad, but it seems like ghost of what it ought to be.

Well, I think she's adorable. Especially if you go for the flirtatious/teasing dialogue options because she gets all flustered and stutter-y. I just really like her voice and her accent. If you get her approval rating high enough, she'll serenade you. But yeah, Liara's cute in a bookish sort of way, Leliana is more...girlish?

Overall though, I think she's a fascinating character who's probably the most complex (or potentially so) of all them, which is saying lots because everyone's well developed.

Yeah it's def created for the computer. The best way I can think to describe the console battle system would be the FFXII gambits. Actually, the battle system is pretty similar if not nearly the same.

If that one was anything like the lesbian sex scene, then yeah--I totally agree.

Speaking of which, I pretty much did most of the romance stuff semi-secretly because my brother was watching me play most of the time (I think I sorta triple-romanced at one point in time because we kept picking the ridiculous dialogues). And like, I triggered the sex scene when my mom was in the kitchen (you know how we've got TV set up). I had like a heart attack and was like "B button--I'm pushing to B button ~speeds through after-dialogue~" Thankfully she was playing games on her cellphone and bro was away at the time so...@__@
