Yes, the name is not great. I remember being told it was because you dumped everything in one pan. It is really yummy though!

Oh my goodness, my grandmother used to make this cake. I had forgotten completely about it until I saw this post. I have to make this soon. Thank you so much for sharing.

Oh my god -- my mother used to make this, and I LOVED it! Easiest cake in the world to make.

I make a version of this with canned chunk peaches, it's nummy!
