Oxfordshire PCT has decided that just having gender dysphoria and demonstrating the criteria that any other PCT would need to start treatment isn't enough. Exceptional circumstances are needed, and other illnesses have to have been caused by this condition. The bar is set very high, far higher than it is in other UK areas. So, I’ve been really lame about updating of late. Life is plodding along, every day another day closer to the end of this course, thank god! Don’t get me wrong, it’s an amazing and very highly regarded scheme and those that get on to it and complete it are essentially ushered at an alarming rate up through the ranks of running the NHS. Medical Mystery Tour
Well my 2nd round of fancy blood tests came back clear as well which in one way was a relief and in another way not so much cause if something had presented itself in the tests I think this whole mystery would have been easy to diagnose! My lovely better half has got tickets for the Metallica & Machine Head gig at the NEC March 25th if any of the rest of you lot of reprobates are to be in attendance lemme know ;)
