Eeep...

I got my hair chopped off last night. I'm really not sure about it :S *twitch* At least it looks very shiny and healthy but I'm finding it very strange to turn my head and not have lots of swooshy hair :( *wills it to grow very quickly*

In other news, on listening to a Belfast radio station at work, I heard about Birmingham City Council's very funny ( Read more... )

I was thinking that myself. To use so much paper for something and then on top of that to fuck it up! Bet a lot of the leaflets wont be recycled and probably will be regarded as junk mail and not read. We should work for the council, we'd show 'em the right way!!

How's you anyways? :)

Oooh sexeh :)

Sounds like a good working environment :) Things are pretty boring here at work, all my colleagues are out. Was off yesterday cause all the flooding meant I couldn't get to work! Not much else to report!

Well it needed a chop cause it had been ages since it had been cut - split ends and the like. I just ended up going a lot shorter than I think I meant to :S Felt like a good idea at the time :(

Lol, pretty short...especially considering how long it was beforehand. Got a good 7-8 inches off! I feels nekkid and very unsure about it!

I need about 4 inches off the back of mine. the back grows quicker than the sides and I'm in danger of having a ladymullet(tm)

LOL Ladymullet...that's quite a horrifying prospect! That's a bit odd that it grows that way. But then you are odd ;) *squidges*

LOL, how crap is Birmingham City Council!?
I'm sure your hair looks lovely, and it'll grow back soon enough if you decide you don't like it :)

Was it Cool FM!? I used to love listening to that. I once got them to play The KLF for me while I was listening online at work in Wolverhampton, hehe :D

I know! And I wanted to work for them! Ah the hair will have to do. Have been getting a lot of compliments so at least it doesn't look terrible to the outside world. Just me being paranoid and unsure about it :)

It was indeed Cool Fm! How did you stumble across that? I listen to it at work, it's a pretty decent radio station although I am getting utterly sick of Sarah Boreiallas (or whatever her name is) and Dizzee Rascal being played at least once an hour. Next good song to finally get overplayed and annoying I predict will be Katy Perry "I kissed a girl"

I used to listen to Cool FM when I visited my friend in Carrickfergus and I took it home with me through online streaming, lol. I even have a Cool FM sweatshirt that won at Mecon once, lol.

I love that Dizzee Rascal song, and the Sarah Bareilles one. I bought Katy Perry too but largely because there's something about the sound of the chorus that's nice (but I can't quite explain) and I'm Most Impressed that someone managed to get the phrase "Cherry Chapstick" into the chorus of a song! :D
I'm guessing you're right on the playlist scheduling though!

Ahh that makes some sense rather than you just randomly stumbling across Belfast radio's finest on teh interwebs :) What's Mecon?

Yeah don't get me wrong, I love both those songs but they are just completely overplayed to the point that I dont want to listen to them any more! Too much of a good thing. The Katy Perry song is just a funny concept. And I did giggle when I heard the line "Cherry chapstick" used! I like her voice. It has a dirty edge. Although I have heard a dancier mix played on the radio which I don't like as much. The guitar sound in the chorus is too good to be messing up with dance stuff!

i worry that i am going there this weekend and that they may have just replaced the skyline to get over the faux pas

Hehehe, apparently what alerted some people to the faux pas was the lack of the BT Tower and the Rotunda, keep an eye out for them! What you going to lovely Brum for - family visit?
