Yesterday, we mowed the lawn for the final time this year, and Barry cut the wild hedges down to a civilized height, and Katie ran around in the yard. And today we made a list of things to fix and change in and around the house. It was very, very nice, and will be much, much nicer just a few short weeks from now.

Katie is being so freaking good, I think someone stole my dog and replaced her with a well-behaved look-alike. She hasn't destoyed the house in like, almost a week.
