Wah .... 53% cut , 52% cut .... All these big figures.....

Doesn't this signals the original extravagant payout? Hmmmm the committee did not comment on this .... - who will though ? Haha

So apparently the public service sector will not be able to attract the best talents with this less attractive package ? This was highlighted by many....

They have forgotten the intention of being in public service altogether. To serve the people and not making money from the people.

serving the public doesnt mean low pay lah....

its just the level of service... doesnt justify the pay if it isnt of quality :P

Actually, if they are really capable and good at their job, those high figures mean nothing. The big issue is, when things screw up, in which they do frequently in recent times, they just pretend it's not their fault and find excuses. Nobody is willing to take the responsibility. So much for high pay = best talent.

luckyboi, i agreed with you on this....

the pay cut came at the 'right' time when we are seeing so many unrealiable services especially on transportation....

I never agree on high pay = high talent..... there are definitely people who are just hiding behind others and gaining credits.
