So an ex of mine got married in November and I mailed them a present some time around then (the week after the wedding), and I still haven't gotten a thankyou note from them. I DID get an x-mass card, hand written by his wife, but no mention of the gift. Do I ask if they ever got it? It wasn't expensive, but I'm still concerned. Did the post office ( Read more... ) -

Sunday night was spent in the hospital. I went to give Ben a hug and caught my toe nail on the treads of his shoes and... yeah. It came off. Gross. The ER doc was really nice and I'm hoping that the podiatrist is just as nice on Thursday. The Percocet is making me loopy and I'm hungry. TTYL. -

What a geat weekend (so far anyway, tomorrow is all practice and cooking/cleaning). Friday night was Shabbos dinner at BKS's appartment with Hillel buddies. He's such a good cook! poor little guy!
I saw a little baby bird next to the sidewalk today. It was hopping around and flapping it's fluffy wings and couldn't fly. I watched it for about 10 minutes before I called the county animal rescue line. They told me not to touch it and that it would either be fed by it's parents, taken back to the nest or die.
