Oh no! I remember he used to do ads for Showtime, the cable channel, and they were really funny. He would offer his tie with a subscription and he'd pull it off-it was a clip on tie. He is one of those joys of the 80's that few seem to remember. I guess because most people I know are still in their 20's.
that sucks-- don't think more than two days ever go by without my thinking about the time Larry Bud burst out of a pile on leaves and ran off the Letterman stage cackling maniacally... (part of a "tribute to the autumn" episode)

I remember him from David Letterman back in my childhood days. For a brief while I thought he was a woman for some reason :/
