What do they mean that technically it counts as a bludgeon? Utter rubbish - a lightsaber can be used for stabbing, especially in the Makashi style.

Hmmm....the Wikipedia reference for Makashi doesn't explicitly describe use in stabbing moves.

I think he was referring to GURPS lightsaber stats.
