One thing I don't like about this diet: I have to spend way more time preparing and cooking my food than I want to. I am not a great cook, and I absolutely hate cleanup

I had to swear off sugar some years back and it was the hardest thing next to smoking I've ever done. It was only afterward that I realized just how much sugar I'd been consuming on a daily basis. Hang in there. You can do it! :)

It's been much more difficult than I anticipated with the cravings. I've joked for years that I'm addicted to sugar, but now I think it's really true.
