I never heard that about soda - interesting! So is it an equal amount? How would you know what amount of liquid an egg would be?

I don't think it has to be exactly an equal amount. I used a cake mix that called for 1 1/3 cups water, 1/2 cup vegetable oil, and three eggs. Instead of those ingredients, I just added a full can of soda.
