I am trying to eat my random leftover food before I move. Today I experimented with using up graham cracker crumbs and confectioner's sugar. Never a dull moment.
There is a pig in our yard. A very large pig. I don't know where it came from. It is grunting. The dogs are freaking out. I don't think they've ever seen a pig before. I'm a little worried that they will go after it and get hurt.

I tried a cupcake experiment today. I learned that I am not good enough at baking to make up my own recipe. I wanted chocolate cupcakes with a hint of spice, and pumpkin frosting with a hint of cream cheese. I got NUTMEG! cupcakes with a hint of chocolate, and cream cheese frosting with a hint of pumpkin. There are four churches within a block of the house, and when the weather is nice and the doors are open I can hear the services from outside. I like walking through the neighborhood on Sunday because the sermons overlap as I pass by, which just sounds cool. I finished watching Season 2 of Mad Men. Now I'm catching up with Season 4 of How I Met Your Mother- I have four episodes left.

One of my housemates just sat down with her dinner and said, "I miss Italian food. Lasagna, Olive Garden..." I love the Olive Garden (breadsticks!) but I guess I am enough of a snob to not consider it real Italian.
