One year ago today...
One year ago today, I quit smoking. I did it cold turkey, while on my period, because I am just that bad-ass. Or as Armando said, "Well, of course, you did it that way. Why would you not do it the hardest way you possibly could?" In my book, doing things the hard way makes them worth more. Makes them stick. Seems to be a good philosophy so far. -

Friday: Was contacted on Myspace by a very dear old friend who I lost contact with seven years ago. She fell off the fucking planet it seems. Made my bloody day. I am ecstatic to be back in touch with her ( Read more... ) -
It's official...
I went to a new neurologist on Friday. A Chiari specialist. He seems like a good guy and a great doctor. I liked him. He really listened, unlike some of the neurologists I've been to in the past. After looking at the results from the MRI I had back in August and listening to me describe what's been happening to me, he pronounced that, yes, I do ( Read more... ) -

In retrospect, I think that I just didn't want to spend another summer's worth of nights alone and I allowed that to cloud my judgement. Because honestly, I did know better. Contents Under Pressure or Why my brain is too big for my skull...
So, some of you know that I had an MRI back in September, which showed that my cerebellar tonsils are ectopic by 7mm. They're not supposed to do that. They're supposed to stop at the foramen magnum.
