Hi all! For those of you hiding out from Tumblr, I just wanted to shamelessly self-promote a little fannish Sherlock project I just finished--a 30 day "expect the unexpected" challenge I set myself. The idea came from this quote from Ben Stephenson, head of BBC Drama

I saw the same quote, and it sounded like such a challenge. I thought about writing a series of ficlets for it, but haven't yet, and the few I saw of you series were all spot on. (I might still write that series, if I ever have time. BWAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHA.)

... which kind of made me chuckle because with a fandom like ours, I can hardly imagine anything that would be unexpected at this point.

Ha! So true. I think that's what made Series 3 so surreal to watch--on the one hand, it contained themes and situations I'd never expected to see depicted on the show, but on the other, I feel like I've read a lot of fic that wasn't *too* dissimilar. M.
