I haven't found the time (or even motivation) to read slash in the longest time. Tonight however, I luckily decided to conduct a quick undercover visit to my f-list just to see what I was missing out on. And then... YAY I treated myself to all five chapters of this story, which is just all kinds og great :)

Really enjoy the realistic feel to this; nice dialogue, interesting story line - and oh so lovely, lost and bewildered Orli *pets him*. Hopefully the sweet, caring Lij will take good care of him now, away from mean and brutal, stupid Cillian (glad to see Orli is leaving that idiot; though I wonder how that will play out). Look forward to see what happens next.

I'm so glad that you picked up with Orlando being surrounded by and supported by his friends.

I was exasperated with his refusal to charge Cillian, but it felt perfectly right psychologically, unfortunately.

It would be wonderful to see Orlando fall in love with someone cares about and respects him. But, of course, there will always be the undercurrent of potential violence. Now I'm all concerned!

oH wOW!!! I read all chapters tonight. I LOVE this!!! I really liked the ways Elijah gently and intuitively read Orlando and let him blossom in the previous chapters. It was wonderful. Its hard to imagine someone accepting this type of life as normal and not see the ugliness and cruelty, but when it it done slowly, love enters and true nature worms is ugly way in. Chapter 4 was painful with Orlando being beaten like that, but I couldn't help but love that you made it so that Cillian was clearly caught in this ugliness

At least he has something and someone to look forward to now. I'm so glad to see more of this and look forward to more :D
