grad school is going to be really hard. I'm going to chill out tonight but I can't believe how much work I have to do over the weekend.

This past weekend, I traveled to Houston, Tx to interview for a PhD program at Baylor College of Medicine. It was a rather interesting process since I didn't pay a dime for transportation, accomodations, and meals. The interviews went well for the most part. my toilet is overflowing and emergency b&g isn't here yet! they are emergency because they are supposed to be here asap! and they aren't
it's been at least 20 minutes! Freaking out! and what sucks is that I'm on the second floor.....

So I had the MRI follow up this afternoon and I came away with great news! First of all, my ACL looks great! Since it's not torn, I don't have to keep my knee stiff. I have found myself at home again. Although I'd rather be moving into my apartment this weekend, I just had to dislocate my left knee on Thursday at skit rehersal. I am in three of the dances for the skit and I dislocated my knee practicing the dance to Pon de Replay. I went to the emergency room and my parents took me home that evening. I see ( Read more... )

all campus orchestra = A
BI 392 Research for credit = A
BI 260 Marine Biology = B
BI 422 Biochemistry 2 = A-
PY 106 Elementary Physics 2 = B+
DA 160 Cardio Jazz Funk = P

With these grades, I have a GPA for the semester of 3.53! With a gpa above 3.5, I have also made dean's list for the spring term. Go me!

So I innocently walked into B&N today and left an hour later with 8 books in tow. I have started reading one but I intend to finish them in the month of May now that I have more time to do things for myself ( Read more... )
