two decisions to be made that have been on my mind:

1. housing for next year: 3 bedroom apartment/house with two good friends, or a studio apartment all to myself?

2.) If you get housing in the U-district, a desktop computer makes more since. You will always have access to the computers at school. Desktop computers are less expensive and last longer like Amanda said. Also, most internet cafe's have computers there like Sure Shot.

I love my lap top because I have internet access regardless where I am. I can write my paper where ever I want. I like playing Scrabble on the bus. I like practicing improvisation with my computer. Taking notes is easy on a laptop.

1.) Like Julie said living with people means you'll always have friends convient to talk to when you need to, but aren't invasive. Living with room mates also means cheaper rent. It's nice being able to have dinner with other people.
