Dammit, why can't I be 21 already?

The two concerts I wanted to go see, DMBQ and Man Man, turned out to be 21+ venues.
SHIT. I'm especially irritated about Man Man, because I've heard their live shows are fricken' awesome -- not to mention their sound is reminiscent of Frank Zappa, Tom Waits and (you know it) - Kaizers Orchestra.

Is that okay....? They always say to credit the people who make the icons, but I don't really know how to do that on LJ.

cheer up karly-poo. there will be a certian level of satisfaction when you do turn 21 and someone cards you. then you can pull your id out with a victorious glow about you and you can say "why yes, as you can see, i am 21" then they can't deny you man. it'll be great. misses ya. bye bye

One of my friends said that if she hadn't given it away already, she would have given me her fake ID, because she said I could pass for 25 easy. (kind of a back-handed compliment, I think) Well, she did think I was around her age - but I'm an undergrad and she's a grad! Bah.

And I'll glow, alright. GLOW.
Someday I swear when I'm back home, I'll actually see you.
