I know it's been forever, but I'M GOING TO ACLFEST!!!!!
Weeeeee ~ for my 21st birthday present to myself, I'm going to the Austin City Limits Festival, otherwise known as ACLfest!!!

Dammit, why can't I be 21 already?
The two concerts I wanted to go see, DMBQ and Man Man, turned out to be 21+ venues.
SHIT. I'm especially irritated about Man Man, because I've heard their live shows are fricken' awesome -- not to mention their sound is reminiscent of Frank Zappa, Tom Waits and (you know it) - Kaizers Orchestra.

SXSW1 - Dresden Dolls
Okay, so this was my first foray into the concert world. No mosh pits, not (too many) scary people...just good music, played fucking loud. Went with my roommate, and the cover charge was $25 at Stubb's: a little steeper than I wanted, but at least we got in.
