We’ve decided I should take the Arts examination. I realize that this probably won’t help me at all, but we can’t lose anything in the doing. Everything went wrong today. I don’t even want to talk about it because even with Zariel I’m on the verge of breaking something. Something very big. Suffice it to say that, unlike on the M&R exam (786 points), I completely sucked it up in Language Writing one. Try 463, a score so low it’s almost unmentionable. Below average! Some things just aren’t fair. One of them is the fact that tomorrow Zariel and I have to go take our third and hopefully final examination. The studying has gone well over all, and we feel quite confident, but the sciences can be tricky at times. Zariel reminded me today of a day in High Training. The temperature felt quite cold, not unexpected for a place like the Northern Border. We had HT in Ste-Paul, which gets very cold, indeed, though Zariel and I cannot agree on whether New Helena is colder or not. Today I got in the way of a man, a tourist of all things, in this time of year! He was taking a vid of our domicile because apparently its style strikes him. What an artsy-fartsy “losier” as Zariel and I say.
