Someone had a great big bowl of Carnation Instant Nihilist for breakfast.
I wish I had encouraging words of optimism to help you feel better, but sadly, I find myself continually losing faith in humanity one fucker at a time.
Hmm, apparently I'm just dumb, but I can't figure out how to reply to any of the entries on your livejournal. I thoroughly enjoy your stories of being deployed and do feel a twinge of guilt that us Air Force folks just kind of bop in for a few months and then head back stateside when you guys stay away from friends and family for so long. Kudos to you for that.
I also think it's funny that when we last saw each other freshman year of high school, I was so gung-ho about JROTC and you were anything but soldier material. Now being a soldier is such a huge part of your life and I'm desperately searching for a way out. Funny how time changes things, isn't it?
Want to come to Luke and poke fun of amateur fighter jocks with me in March? It won't be as fun unless I have someone as sarcastically charming as you who understands.
