The first piece of meta about one of my fics. A fairly in-depth look at how I approached fusing Tales of Phantasia with DBSK. Or how I managed to take the first of a massive video game franchise and put an Asian boyband into it. Yeah, when it's put like that, it just sounds ridiculous.

In which I ramble at great length about why Love in the Ice is not the excellent song fandom claims it to be. I also spend too much time doing so.
When the Enemy is the Self completion meta [DBSK]
After writing about dubcon, self-destructive behavior, anorexia, death imagery, and general ripping apart a person's psyche, I then point out why I made the decisions I did. It was not nearly as cathartic as it should have been.
Decomposing Mozart (Mozart, DBSK, SHE, and Mario & Nesty)
Sick and tired of hearing people complain about how [insert band here] copied DBSK, I rant about the only victim here is poor, undeserving Mozart.

I contemplate Jennifer Wilson's characterization, especially how it's presented in She Existed For Me.
Hitman!AU: We’ll End it on Our Terms: Post-writing notes [J&A]
At 3 am in the morning, before the final edit, I talk about We'll End it on Our Terms. Then I go back once the final changes have been made to make sure that I didn't contradict myself too badly.
Taguchi Got Hot (Or: A rudimentary analysis of KAT-TUN’s Music Station Super Live 2012 Performance.) [J&A]
For the first time, I put down my thoughts on KAT-TUN, Taguchi, and their production/marketing plans into text. Also, I talk about Kame's hair.
Now Twirl: A not-very-brief discussion on similarities and differences between boybands in Japan, Korea, Taiwan, and The West. [J&A, Kpop, Cpop, Western Music Industry]
