It doesn't.

That's what Bush/Cheney and those Whitehouse hose-meisters have done. Most of us KNOW shit like this regularly goes down, and we're powerless to stop the rot.

Gee, I'm so glad that the Patriot Act was renewed. Makes me feel so much safer to know that people can't pay off their credit cards.

Didn't realize that it was something the Secret Service took care of to monitor credit card fraud. Still doesn't put me much at ease considering I'm looking at paying off one of my lower cards when my tax return comes in.
