The Computer Decision

Thank you to everyone out there who chimed in with great advice on how to handle our little computer crisis. It's been quite amazing to see just how reliant Jenn and I have become on that little machine for so many things. I'm sorry you could not salvage your last rig; but when it's time is up...its up.

I don't know why you are apologizing for going with Vista, it's the best choice in this day and age.

I hope your new rig gives you much love. I started looking into getting my own machine due to your recent issues. I have always built my own computers piece by piece, but I think the day has come to let someone else do it for me.

Thank you so much for all of the support you gave for the attempted salvage of the old rig. I like calling it that. It has always felt a bit like a ship the way one "navigates" the web and such :) I guess that would make you a bit of a "shipwright" since you have always put your own rigs together.
I very much look forward to the love of this new computer :)

Were I to buy a machine today, it'd have Vista on it. Despite all the noise, my experience with the product (which I have been using since the beta) has been fine.

Gratz on the new rig!

It is very heartening to hear you say that about Vista. I had only heard so much of that "noise" about it from a lot of the other computer-y folks I know.
Thank you for the well wishes!
