Ah'm sure some people may celebrate it anyway even bein' here.

What apparitions are you talkin' about?

I hope so. Though the deities seem to like targeting holidays.

And I'm speaking of the ones from Father's Day. Haunted quite a few people.

Really? Ah hope they don't curse people on it. Are you from the U.S. then?

Ah wasn't here then, just landed here Wednesday night. What were people haunted by, their fathers?

I am, in fact; are you, Miss?

I'm sorry to have to welcome you here. But yes, fathers or father figures.

Real enough if you discount the fact that one couldn't touch them nor could anyone else hear or see them.

But was it actually the person in question? Or illusions?

I'm leaning more towards an illusion, but despite that it didn't change the fact that they acted and sounded just like how we would picture our respective fathers or father figures.

I don't see the significance if they're just mirror images.

Those fireworks had a pretty grim meaning. If this place does something for the 4th of July I hope it'll be harmless.

So they did. I wasn't aware a 'god' could quit their job, but that sort of exit act was unsurprising.

As do I.

I've been trying to get the meaning of that. It seems quite pointless that she'd say there's no justice and yet rid us of that war-loving psycho as a farewell present, huh.

What do they know of justice. 'Pointless' sounds like the best description for it.

I don't know. Maybe they were real, maybe they weren't. Maybe it's up to personal interpretation. Which one do you prefer?

I didn't want to disturb him. So the latter. But

We'll never know for sure, in a place like this. At least we have a choice to believe what we want and hope for the best.

I'm not sure I could settle for that level of control, but it's a start.
