Today was the first day of my training. I went to sessions on general standards for youth workers, crisis intervention (suicide stuff), and sexual harassment. Well, this month has definately been a big one as far as my life events go. I started my new job at Good Will-Hinckley (in the modified cottage program at Grange Cottage) on June 6th and I really like it, even though the whole starting process was rather stressful (lack of communication is one of the hallmarks of the job).
