What would make you want to wear more armor in a Larp (if you're playing a melee type character)?
What is most important? Point value, monster calls, comfort, chicks dig it, other?

Thanks!

Monster calls, mostly. Gee-whiz factors into it too. The main reason I switched from plate to chain was that it was the best compromise between comfort and protection from taglines. That and the fact that I never got around to refitting/remaking my plate kit, and wearing ill-fitting plate for long periods in our climate sucks. At least chain breathes. :)

I've never worn armor. for price reasons and mostly for comfort ...
I rely on other in-game stuff to keep me up...

taglines. I don't like wearing armor generally and only put it on when I know I need to be a tank or when I think taglines will be everywhere.

If the armor were cool looking and light and functional then I'd be more likely to wear it.

Oh, also getting MIs that are full suits cause then you gotta.

Ditto on the tag lines. Though I highly rate if it looks awesome enough. However I am willing to sacrifice all of that depending comfort. IE Whether or not I might have a heat stroke cause I'm wearing it. If I had chainmail I wouldn't mind so much (as it breathes), but I'm poor like everyone else and don't forsee getting it any time in the near future.

Monster calls, point value, comfort, coolness factor, all of the above...*)

Hope this helps...
