before I started my own company, I worked for an antique store/auction company. A popular item I had to sell with frequency was vintage and retired Hummel figurines. I've seen the same shit at auctions here, except it is assholes passing up some beautiful antique pieces of furniture in favor of 30 year old stuff by Lane.
