You probably detailed it in an older entry, but if he lives in Hiroshima, how did you meet? And how old is he, what does he do, etc.?

We met in the previous entry, in which I was showing some friends around Japan. We were all taking the ferry to Matsuyama from Hiroshima and he decided to become our official driver while we were talking in the waiting area and on the boat.
