Finishing up my Farm rotation this week. The past 4 weeks have been mucking about in poo, pee and other bodily fluids and trying to make heads or tails of these CRAZY creatures called farm vets. Wildlife clinic is going well. Have  lots of practice with x-rays, blood taking, and drugs now. I have killed lots of swans,ducks, foxes and such, but have also saved a few too. They mostly get killed cause they have to be 100% in order to be released into the wild (makes sense), and so there is lots of x-raying to show fractures or bone infections ( Read more... )

My Annie dog died last night. She was almost 15! She had a long run and really was only showing her age these past 2 years, but it still feels too soon and too sudden.
