I miss ballet desperately. If I could just whisk myself away from this life, and I know that sounds selfish and awful, I would be dancing 24/7. Gotta get back somehow, so frustrating that I am unable to do anything for myself right now. Starting up yoga again to stay limber in the meantime, about a half hour on my mat was exactly what I needed ( Read more... )

I have a young son and while we signed him up for preschool, we are still on the waiting list :\ My family isn't very supportive about watching him (mostly because they all have jobs and other kids) and so I had to quit my job to be a stay at home mom--really not good for my sanity :( I used to have a super strict schedule where I worked and danced but also had time at home with baby, but it has all changed. I'm really hoping that he gets into preschool and I can start dancing again next semester.

Yes, I love yoga! I'm trying to keep up a daily practice at home because it soothes me so much, I'm just much better at committing to classes than to doing stuff on my own.

I did!!! And it felt sooo good, nothing like it! I understand busy schedules, it sucks not bein able to do what you want in life.
