WHO: Luc and Sarah. WHERE: Budehuc Inn. WHEN: Evening. WHAT: Luc and Sarah's first step into physical intimacy. Concise paragraphs due to a lack of time. WARNING: Kissing. PG-13 STATUS: COMPLETE
Sarah was never much for her emotions, it was very hard to tell when she was especially expressionless for most of the time. At the time he entered, she said nothing about him missing dinner and stood up from where she was sitting and went to pick up Luc's coat that he'd thrown on the table so carelessly. Her blue eyes pulled it close to her and she straightened it out, moving to fold it carefully so there would be no wrinkles in it the next day.
"Do not worry, if you were not here, I realize that you must have had important tasks to finish or attend to." Once she finished folding it, she set it on the dresser away from the table and went back to her chair near the window and sighed gently as she looked outside. Sarah's hands settled in her lap and she turned to face Luc,"It was fine, sir."
Sarah did not really like crab meat, but she did not kill the animal so she didn't get to choose what she liked and didn't like.
Luc tilted his head slightly as he looked at her. She seemed... upset. He was at a loss as to why, but it was enough for him to sit up, get off of the bed, and walk over to her. He knelt down next to where she was sitting, and laced his fingers with hers, looking into her eyes. "I know that what I might have said before could have upset you... I shouldn't have mentioned your mortality. It was uncaring of me." Luc couldn't help but feel bad about what he did. But, to say that he wasn't worried about the fact that she would die long before he would was an understatement. He had never loved before... the thought of the woman he loved dying of old age while he, himself, would never age, was extremely upsetting

Sarah didn't want him to feel he had to cater to her feelings as he'd never done such before, she kept her head turned and then turned back to him. She watched Luc moved over towards her, her eyes widened when he knelt down so she was higher than he. It'd been the first time that he ever did this and she could only watch his movements, allowing him to manipulate her digits so they were interlaced with his own and looking directly at her.
"It is within your right to talk about my mortality, especially if you believe it is an issue we should discuss, Master Luc." While she did not like talking about it, due to how it effected her emotionally to think of how far along she would be when she couldn't go with Luc, she would cease to be useful to him and her body would no longer attract him, she didn't try to think too hard on it.
Luc sighed. "The day it becomes an issue has not come yet, Sarah." That day was far off from now, and it would be many, many years before it would actually affect her. Perhaps a decade. He released her hand, and got up from his seated position. Instead he sat on the arm of Sarah's chair, and wrapped his arm around her body, so that her head would be against his chest. "I've been thinking..." he began, quietly contemplating his next words. "When you said you wanted to leave this castle... where did you want to go?"
He was looking straight at her, giving her his undivided attention. He hadn't paid much attention to her today, and now he was; for what it was worth. She could still feel neglected, though Luc would do anything he could to take that feeling away.
