In the path of darkness sometimes we stroll,
in the sorrow and pain of past memories we stall,
sadness, confusion and tears is sometimes all we know.

But when we talk:

Darkess fades, and light re appears
New memories are made, and pain and sorrow give way
Confusion to reason, tears to laughter, and sadness to hapiness.

I miss writing in my journal, it seems like ages since I wrote last. I am definately a believer of global warming when it is November 20th and it is 12 degrees ABOVE celcius in Edmonton! I am taking this opportunity to properly ventillate the appartment by opening all the windows: it may seem silly but last year on November 20th I would have been deemed certifiably insane if I had opened all the windows.

Okay so I can't even sit through a class and concentrate because by back hurts. I find my evidence class exceedingly painful but figuratively and literally and the pain is only getting worse. I can't get a massage therapy appointment for a month so what good is that going to do me? I don't know what the heck I am going to do if this continues ( Read more... )

We have a guest lecturer in our class today. He is describing a horrible case of abduction, rape and murder of a 6 year old girl here in Edmonton. He explained the details and I think he should have given us a little bit of warning because I nearly started crying when he was explaining the case. What kind of monsters are there in this human race

I had the gang over for dinner tonight and we played Cranium. First night that Burgess' parents were here and they stayed up past 10pm, god bless my friends. Jenn, Mel, Karin and Rob are fabulous. So our first house guests have been here for over 24 hours and it is going okay thus far. A few ackward moments, and I am sure they are bored out of their mind but there isn't much we can do about that because it is a symptom of Edmonton unfortunately.
