hahaha, this reminds me so much of george (from our engl 320 class a few years ago)--he was rather flirtatiously persistent as well ;)
so sorry i haven't been in touch for a while, darling. i've been catching up on your lj and the rough time you've been having is terrible :( but i do hope things are getting better for you little by little. you're so intelligent, vista, and charming and friendly and beautiful--i know your life will be a brilliant success with that law degree of yours. just hang in there and spring will arrive soon...you'll feel better in the warm weather.
I think there are some people (girls included) that finding someone more desirable because of the very fact that they are in a relationship. Sometimes I think it's the thrill of the chase, other times maybe it's very "safe" to flirt/crush on someone unavailable? Lessens the chances of real emotional risk?
Hey Vista, I forgot to tell you: I met Jamsheed. During our brief convesation during which he failed to see the ironic hunour in the med/law students always getting shoved together (he just looked blank when I said "breeding program"), he met every expectation I have of him.
