I've been looking into stock investments lately. I wanna try to do some serious investing to build savings for awhile. I have absolutely no idea where to start. My savings account has about $500 in it, but the interest is so pitiful, I don't even count it as being there. I wish I knew a damn thing about economics...

Yeah. Not really surprising. I'm more surprised that we got back in contact after 3 years of not talking. We fell out of communication not too long after you and I began talking and only started talking again in May.
