R.I.P. Malik 2008 - 2009

We found Malik over Gustav. He was abandoned and positive for feline leukemia, but Jim took him in and we brought him back to health. He was a really terrific kitten. I'm really broken up that he is gone, but I am glad he was with us for his one year here. He was put to sleep yesterday morning. As upset as that makes me, it truly was the only ( Read more... )

From the way he's touched both you and Jim, it's pretty clear he was here and gone for a reason. I've been studiously avoiding thinking too much about it, because it hurts my heart, but take comfort in knowing there is a better world for him and because of him.

From this world to the next, may his voice cry with life eternal.

He's better, he hates the antibiotics, but he's got more energy now. He gave us a scare, though.
