Yaknow it doesn't matter that we didn't win. Firstly I had planned to put a fiver on them wining at the beginning of the tournament as a gesture of patriotism. I never got round to it and had we won I would have been cursing as I would have been out £130 odd ( Read more... )

Hehe, I was just steaming some buns and set the alarm off 3 times coz the bamboo steamer started burning. A little while ago I narrowly avoided 3rd degree burns when a woomf of flame went up my dressing-gown sleeve but luckily went out immediately.

I think perhaps I shouldn't be trusted alone around gas hobs XD

I dropped my glasses last night for the last time. They have finally given up after 5 years of being thrown about, slept on and generally abused. It means today I can't see like anything more than 5ft in front of me, and even most of that is blurred. I never realised I was so blind!
