OMFG MITTENS!!
dreaken is OBSESSED with his (homemade) winter mittens! he insists on wearing them even tho it's 80 degrees outside... and he screams in frustration b/c he can't put them on by himself...
he's driving me crazy b/c he screams at me to put them on him and then 3 minutes later he removes them... repeat... all day...

i heard from the financial offices today... the surgery will cost us $614 after insurance coverage... this is in top of the $677 that the doc charged for the surgery... -

ok i just got off the phone with the surgical schedule person... his surgery will be may 26th... our scheduled time of surgery will not be available to us until a few days beforehand...
this is so nerve wracking... -

ok so, the latest updates... dreaken does need surgery... i have paid the doctor's surgical fee of $577 and i should hear from surgical scheduling tomorrow to get a date and time for the surgery... we still have to pay about $175 of the hospitals fees at full cost before we have met the deductible... after that we pay 20% of the rest of the cost ( Read more... ) -

i now have a hanging planter with a new batch of catnips... we rigged a line so that i can lower the planter enough that i can reach it for watering and harvesting the catnips... we also bought some basil to put in the long planter where my first batch of catnips used to be... and we bought some chairs for the patio ( Read more... ) -

stupid neighborhood cat dug up all my catnip sprouts last night... looks like i will have to get an hanging planter for another batch of catnips.. -
