I first took notice of his dog.  It was a black chiuaua with a brown underside.  It was loud, obnoxious, and yet its miniature size made these qualities seem unimportant.

I hate it when you are on AIM and you are thinking in the back of your mind, "I'm going to go take a shower soon," and right when you are just about to get off someone else gets into the shower.

That was of course until I left the stove on while boiling some water for tea.  I was still in the apartment at the time, but had become distracted by pressing paperwork.  Twenty minutes later my sister returned and noted an odd smell coming from the kitchen.  The water had completely evaporated from the sauce pan (since I am too lazy to get an ( Read more... )

Gen, Caitlin, Ben and I went to the Japanese tea garden and saw some hardcore roller disco.  Roller disco.

Though I did not see any unicorns, (dragon sightings proved fruitful) I did hear them mentioned about three times while in studio and once while listening the Wolfmother.

Soooo, since Jacoba got herself a new LJ I felt the need to update mine since I haven't in FOREVER. I was going to get myself a new LJ for certain reasons, however, I find that the old entries highly amuse me in that it allows me to view how little I've developed this past year and how college has done nothing to improve my maturity/awkwardness. After spazing all week about my spoonbill I finally got all the major work done. Then, while I'm cutting a small, tiny wire with a normal pair of scissors, I cut my finger wide open.  I just worked with band saws and table saws and power tools and huge blades not but ten minutes before, and I cut myself with scissors.  Well hell.
