When I was growing up, I never would have believed that electronics would be as prevalent as they are.
I'm still old fashioned in a lot of ways compared to my classmates. I do not take notes on my laptop or other device.. I use inkpen and paper. I don't own a Blackberry, I own a paper and cardboard day planner. I still get most of my bills in paper form and write a check and mail it in to pay it. I don't use ATM's for money, I drive to the bank and talk to a real person.
A lot of people consider me quaint and old-fashioned. I guess I am comparatively.

Take away a 13 year old's Ipod or an 8 year old's ability to watch a DVD from the back seat of their mini van and they'd be at a loss. Ask one of them what a Dewey decimal system is and they'd just stare at you most likely.
I guess what I'm saying in my rant is, that just because we Can we never stopped to think if we should.
