so uh... I haven't made it to New Orleans quite yet. it was rainy/foggy in New York today, so flights out of LGA were delayed, and my connecting Atlanta->NO flight, which I missed by five minutes, tops, was the last of the day, and... yeah. the good news, at least, is that I'm not sleeping in the airport -- mathslut, being the absolute doll that she is, ( Read more... )

Oh cool, I believe my good real life friend Sarah (wolf_cat is there right now, too. :D The fandom world is so small, isn't it? :)

Sorry about your flight being lame. :\ But, hey, New Orleans is good no matter when you can go, right? Unless, of course, there's a hurricane. Heh.

ooh! I don't think I knew that you guys know each other? it really is so small, and I can never get over it.

Atlanta is so pretty -- much as I'd like to be t00bing around with the PR bunch, I don't mind being here. I'll mind it tomorrow morning though, when I'm getting into a cab at 6am. dur.

Ew, that sucks. 6am is much too early.

Yes, we know each other. We met here in Phoenix at the Episode II lineup. :D She is to blame for my Doctor Who obsession, and she took my sushi virginity. <3

I sooooo want to go to Phoenix Rising, but alas, I don't think I'm gonna be able to. *cry*

I know, I always bump into people who know other people I know. Not even really a "six degrees of separation" thing so much as we all like the same stuff.

well I don't know why you haven't heard about it! although I guess I haven't posted about it a whole ton. you've still got a year to plan for it, and it's shaping up to be really fantastic (and I'm not just saying that 'cause I'm biased ;)).

I'm so glad that you made it safe and sound-- the house was safe and sound too, thanks for watching out for it a little... and for delicious margaritas!

And now back to work, gah.

house so pretty! I want to steal it and bring it up here.

and I owe you guys a couple beers, to make up for the ones I stole to sit outside and read. (I got rose gelato, too, and it was yummy!)

Mmmmm, rose gelato sounds delightful. I don't think there's any room up there for the house though, or I would do it for real.

Did you have a great rest of the weekend? How's work going? I meant to ask while you were here, but you did get my last email with my resume, didn't you? It was back on... the 17th.
