As I just said to passing_through, I know her mom and dogs were there to greet her, and I hope now she really knows peace and feels loved, and knows how highly regarded she was here on LJ. She will be missed, that's for certain. *joins in a group hug*

Sometimes I fool myself into thinking things don’t matter that much and I can simply come or go as I please. I always stumble across something new; only this time it brought me back to something and some beings I once knew. This is the impetus post for me. To finally remember my password and actually log in and probably join several more sites today simply so I can be a part of this again. Because it does matter. Vamphile and her writings mattered to me. And just to truly honor her in a way she will appreciate... The most memorable exchange we ever had had my neurosis on full display: discussing certain acts in certain areas and hygiene and potential infections and whatnot. It resulted in Vamphile stating these very profound words I shall never forget ( ... )
