Friday night saw an impromptu gathering, under bad circumstances - Drool and Gal came to Boston for the weekend because Drool's aunt passed away. She had been ill for a while, and they kind of knew it was coming. OMG Yes! I maintain that the most inane thing in broadcast media is sports commentary. I was just saying to Jess on Sunday that nowhere along the line did TV broadcasters realize they weren't radio announcers, so they could sometimes just let the pictures speak for themselves. I would pay good money to be able to listen to something, ANYTHING more entertaining than the 90% drivel spouted by both play-by-play and color commentators.

Seriously. I didn't know Madden was a fucking Hydra. Cut his fat head off the air and 10 more sprout up in his exposition-loving place.

It was. As always, there are things to be learned; which is why I have the supplies in the fridge and pantry for a complete redo.
