Aww..poor Logan at the end! Sexual frustration! It's his fault..he ordered food! *laugh* Anyways! Great update! And the GI Joe toy and the little trip down memory lane...so cute!
Loved it and can't wait til next week!
And Corny cracks me up :) Always great to see him.

SERIOUSLY. If he just avoided the pizza pitfall, he probably would have gotten some. Oh, Logan :).

And, hee, I'm so glad you enjoyed the G.I. Joe part! I lobbied for a toy chapter, and everyone was nice enough to humor me, so I was happy to be able to write it :).

FIRST!! Woo!!! (or not...dang it! Wrote too long)

Anyway...I think I was so excited I read way too fast. I must reread and savor.

GI Joe and Snake eyes! Heee! I love how Veronica had to help him strategize. Too cute. A fic wouldn't be yours without toys.

A note - when Lamb enters, you repeat the sentence.

Umm...oh! Grr...Lamb! Figures though. I mean, we can't solve the case just yet, right? ;-)

“Right. Can’t we ever go on a normal date?”

“Wait - what is this normal of which you speak?”

*snicker* Yep, they'll never be normal. I'm glad they can laugh about it now. And of course, love how Veronica has to 'ride' his coattails when obviously she doesn't want to. Or you know what I mean. She's not gold digging.

I really need to go reread.

And oh yeah, I loved it. Wasn't that obvious? And Corny! Weee! Poor Logan. But pizza! Yum!

Okay, more thoughts. Unicorn!! Heee! I just loved how you threw so many little things into this chapter. Unicorns, ponies, toys, Enbom, Caz, Dick, and of course Corny.

“It is the end of the video age,” So true. And I can give you the cost/benefit anlaysis as well as all the pros/cons of installing a digital security system vs the old tape system, which one day I might have to work on forensically because like you so pointed out, idiots run them. *grin*

I loved how Logan frantically tried to stop Veronica from accusing Dick and was left calling 'but who did it??' Hee! I can picture him, confused yet so used to it. That's Veronica. Always a few steps ahead of everyone.

“It’s got a 394-horsepower V-8, handles hard turns well because of the aluminum suspension and chassis flex. The usual.” HA! YOU DID RESEARCH! I'm so proud. *wipes tear from eye*

“now you can ogle me in a tux all night long.” Drools. So can I. Yum.

SECOND is so, so, close to first, though! And you know by now I've edited the Repeating Sentence Of Doom (TM), so thanks for catching that :).

YAY FOR TOYS! I was so happy I got to include them :). And, seriously, strategizing Veronica helping Logan with his toy battle...while they're all in, like, sixth grade...cracked me up. I mean, HI, playing with toys in sixth grade is still totally valid, but, still. Hee! :)

EXACTLY. I mean, this is, what? Chapter eighteen of twenty-two? Give it a few more weeks ;).

Normal is lame and overrated, and Logan and Veronica are back together so they can be anything but normal! YAY! :) And, hee, now that you mentioned V not being a golddigger, I have that song stuck in my head ;).

I AM SO GLAD YOU ENJOYED IT. Seriously, seriously, glad. And I love me some Corny (AND some pizza), but NOT THE TIMING. SHEESH.

This was such a fun chapter. You moved through the MotW so well, and still dangled enough hints about Ye Olde Arc to make it exciting. I think you did a great job with Logan and Veronica, too - some of the dialogue in this chapter is just golden!

I KNOW. See, I KNEW I wasn't the only one who recognized that. Also, 80's toys and unicorns are LOVE, so obviously, any avenue I had to exploit them was utilized. All within the first few paragraphs. Heeee.

I'm also adoring that you had more than just a passing Enbom reference.
YAY! Other than the elusive Shelley, Enbom is one of the most-mentioned, least-seen Neptunians, and he INTRIGUES me so. So, you know, why not make him a criminal? Worked for me ;).

I love being able to see Logan and Veronica really interact with each ohter now that they are back together.

Re Suzie--you know there are girls like that are your school and mine, so don't worry. Just imagine all of those women who wore pretty white dressed at Commencement with pearls if they moved to CA. I'm glad you know the kids of guys I was talking about there, too. *PV love*

Logan wasn't wearing a tux in 113, just a suit. The only tux he's worn was in 104 and 220...you need to be watching more, Sarah!

I thought you would like that icon, and it did fit so well.

Well, we HAD to wear white dresses at Commencement (and black shoes, but I was pearlless ;)), but I know exactly what you mean. It seems like it was such a long TIME ago I was around those people, though! *sniff*

Okay, yes, it wasn't a tux in 1x13...BUT YOU GOT WHAT I MEANT. SIGH. He's just not decked out in the white number, because...that was for epic love declarations ONLY. Better? ;)

(And, FINE, it was 1x04 tux, except not, cause that was Aaron's. BUT THAT WAS THE LOOK HE WAS GOING FOR.)
